It has been roughly seven months since our last soccer game of the Fall 2025 season, and we are thrilled to welcome you all back for the 2026-27 season in just about 100 days. As the 2025-26 school year winds down, we wanted to let you know that planning for the FALL SOCCER SEASON is underway, and we invite you to be a part of it!

The first day of Tryouts is MONDAY AUGUST 24th!!!

The 2025-26 soccer season saw the Boys’ Soccer Program continuously challenge opponents, battling until the very end with an unfortunate premature end to our season without a post season appearance. We were competitive game in and game out but lacked the ability to put games away when we needed to. Although disappointing on some levels, the dedication, of our players, especially our large senior class was second to none.

Our commitment to growing the program remains strong, but your discipline to train ALL SUMMER LONG is crucial, especially since we haven't formally trained since October and we will see a larger turnover in players than we have ever seen. This summer, it is more important than ever for you to take responsibility for preparing yourself for the upcoming season. Many of you have been playing club soccer this spring, which means we should be even better equipped to compete this fall. Training together is paramount to building the TEAM.

Now is the time to start training together on the field, focusing on agility, stamina, speed, and conditioning. Building a strong foundation of core muscles, legs, and arms is essential for competing at the Varsity level. We will also work on tactics, game-like situations, defending, finishing, and off-ball movements. Equally important is fostering camaraderie and friendship among teammates, creating bonds that lead to success.

Let's continue to build on this foundation and strive for even greater achievements in the upcoming season.

With the launching of the South Shore Summer League last summer and a stable training facility for our program, the summer program will be an important one. On Mondays from 6:00-9 PM, we will join other local high schools as we once again host the South Shore Summer League in partnership with the Malverne/East Rockaway program. More information on this will be shared separately. Additionally, the coaching staff plan is to host two morning training session per week (1-player organized with the focus on conditioning and agility and 1-coach-led with the focus on skill development, shooting and first touch). A second evening session will be organized on Thursday evenings with an emphasizing on field positioning and game play.

We will introduce training options through our Summer Training program to prepare you for the season. Both the coaching staff and alumni interested in supporting Lynbrook soccer will assist in these efforts. We will continue to emphasize quick play, first touch, finishing, team defending, communication, individual positioning, and strategies. There are additional opportunities available to prepare for the upcoming season. Please check the SOCCER TEAM APP for these opportunities as we post them. Attending one of the local camps can also provide a team discount for multiple players from the same school.

Lastly, the Lynbrook Soccer Booster Club (LSBC) is now a registered 501(c)(3) organization and will continue to fundraise and support events throughout the summer, fall, and school year. Please inform your parents about the LSBC and forward any mail or emails regarding the Booster Club to them. We are seeking greater parental involvement in the club, which has become a great support for the teams. We encourage all parents to get involved. This year, we are planning a SOCCER DAY on October 3rd and will support a charity to be determined at a later date.

Please keep an eye on your email and team app for updates from both the coaches and the leadership of the program to ensure you can attend all training and workout sessions. As always, you can stay up to date with all happenings within the LHS Boys Soccer Programs by downloading and joining the mobile community at teamapp.com. Information is on the back.

*Game Schedule for the FALL Season is included for your review and to help with making sure you can make the full season commitment.
